Letters to London #1

Well, I came up with two of these on a very cold, very long tube journey on my last night in London a few weeks ago. I don´t know if I will keep making these but I thought I´d just share them here. That´s what a blog is for right? Sharing things. Hah! Here you go

Dear London,

I just wanted you to know how beautiful you are in the winter. Christmas lights on Bond Street, the foggy skyline over Canary Wharf, the fairy lights and smell of mulled wine at the Southbank christmas market. You know how to make the freezing wind and the short days worth it. Because short days make for long nights and there is truly nothing more romantic or stunning than a slightly drunk walk trough the city when it´s dark and empty. It feels personal, as if only you have a very rare honor to witness London in its most beautiful state. Like noone else can see it, like the city is only there for you. Because in a way, it is.
