How Tinder made me think about relationship values

So recently I have given in to social pressure and got Tinder. Yup. Maybe not the best choice I´ve ever made seen as I spend half an hour last night checking out guys and cringing at their profiles. This must sound so sad but it is actually weirdly entertaining.

Anyways, it got me thinking that nowadays we are so superficial, we literally decide who is right/wrong for us by 1-5 pictures and a (usually terribly cheesy) explanation of „who they are“. Therefore here is my list of ACTUAL things I look for in a guy. And no I am not looking for a relationship neither am I unhappy being single, quite the contrary. But just in case that dude is out there somewhere I definitely want to meet him J It surely wouldn´t hurt if he had a few tattoos and the ability to dress well, but this one is all about values...

1.     He has got to work in a somewhat creative job, so he can relate to my regular mental breakdowns and panic attacs.

2.     He needs to have the same believes as me on things like feminism, gay rights and mental illnesses.

3.     He has to kill the spider, there is no debating about this one.

4.     He should be the kind of person that will spontaneouly go out for drinks with me and end up super wasted on a park bench for no reason whatsoever.

5.     Then again, he also needs to be ready to spend all night watching movies too instead of squeezing in a club with all the cocky 16 year olds.

6.     If he dislikes gin or beer we might have a problem.

7.     He needs so somewhat agree with me on movies and TV shows. Not that I´d force anyone to watch Sex and the City (apart from my best friend) but if he doesn´t go to the cinema with me to watch creepy/psycho films or hates on how „wrong“ American Horror Story is, nope that´s a dealbreaker.

8.     He needs to like travelling. This is possibly the most important thing.

9.     If he likes to play things safe instead of going on adventures...no, goodbye.

10. And finally he needs to put up with my crazy friends and family...and hopefully even love them as much as I do.
